An extensive study will be conducted to record and further analyze the requirements of patients and healthcare professionals. The process will include interviews and questionnaires with patients, doctors, and various stakeholders, such as the Hellenic Diabetes Association, to collect opinions and data.

WP 2: Definition of Technical Specifications – Application Design
In the second work package (WP2), the technical design of the project will be carried out, including the definition of technical specifications and the modeling of functions through wireframes. This package will translate the user requirements from WP1 into specific functions for the web and mobile applications, outlining the structure, content, and functionality of the platform. At the same time, the database schema will be finalized, and procedures for secure data retrieval and presentation will be documented. Upon completion of WP2, a comprehensive technical plan will be ready for application implementation.

WP 3: Pilot Version of the Platform
Work Package 3 (WP3) focuses on the pilot development of the DiabForeAI platform, which will include a web application, two mobile applications (Android and iOS), and a REST API for secure data synchronization.

WP 4: Testing and Validation
Work Package 4 (WP4) focuses on testing, evaluation, and validation of the DiabForeAI pilot platform. A group of 50 users, consisting of patients and healthcare professionals, will test the platform for 4 months to ensure functionality, usability, and compliance with the initial specifications.

WP 5: Development of Final Version
In WP5, the goal is to develop the final, fully functional version of the platform, which will be ready for market release. All feedback and proposed improvements will be evaluated and incorporated into the final version of the platform. After this, a final test will be conducted on all applications to ensure that everything operates smoothly and without errors.

WP 6: Dissemination of Results
In WP6, actions will be carried out to demonstrate the final product, its advantages and features, and to broadly disseminate the project results. Dissemination activities will take place throughout the project, but at this stage they will be intensified due to the outputs produced by the project.
